Nancy Mitchell is the founder and guiding force behind Natura Realms. Her work is rooted in a lifelong dedication to botanical medicine, natural living, and thoughtful, community-centered care.

Her path began in the mid-1990s and led her to California, where she served as Natural Living Manager for Wild Oats Markets. During her time there, she played a key role in opening two successful store locations. Her training with this company deepened her expertise in herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, Ayurveda, and holistic wellness alongside leaders in the natural products industry.

After returning to the East Coast, Nancy joined the leadership team at Healthy Living Market in South Burlington, Vermont, where she continued to support and educate customers in natural health. She later earned a Master of Education and Waldorf Teaching Certification, spending nearly two decades working with children and families in a deeply meaningful and formative chapter of her life.

Throughout these years, Nancy remained closely connected to the natural products field, taking a teaching leave to work as a broker, becoming a certified Bioenergetic Health Coach, and most recently contributing to a respected natural pharmacy on the New Hampshire Seacoast. She is currently completing her formal training as a Clinical Herbalist.

At Natura Realms, Nancy brings together decades of experience to thoughtfully curate a collection of high-quality herbal remedies, supplements, and natural goods. Her work is guided by her Christian values, a commitment to integrity, beauty, and a deep respect for the intelligence of the natural world—creating a space that feels both grounded and quietly transformative for those who enter.

Jon Mitchell is co-owner of Natura Realms and oversees the company’s financial strategy, planning, and operations. With a background in business management and real estate investment, he brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to ensuring the long-term strength and sustainability of the business.

In addition to his role at Natura Realms, Jon holds a full-time position with another company, balancing his professional commitments while remaining deeply involved in the growth and stewardship of the store.

Behind the scenes, Jon manages the financial infrastructure that allows Natura Realms to operate with clarity and integrity. Outside of work, he enjoys time spent tending to his gardens, improving his property, and creating a home environment that reflects the same care and intention found within Natura Realms.
